Residential Green Waste Program

Recology Dixon Green Waste Cart Green waste collection is provided to customers that reside within the city limits of Dixon. Customers that reside within Dixon city limits receive one 96 gallon green waste cart.

Green waste is used in a number of recycling processes, such as composting. Green waste recycling produces rich compost which can be used by local residents and farmers, rather than going to waste in a landfill.

Please be mindful of the 200 pound weight limit. Our trucks cannot lift carts that weigh more than this. If your garbage exceeds the limit, it will not be collected.
